Finance Lead Volunteer

Location: Leuven & Brussels, BE

What is expected from you?

As the Finance Lead, you will participate in the strategy and development of our finance practices as well as handling the expenses related to the team and our events.

We value creativity, so your ideas will contribute to our growth. You will be given more responsibility as you progress, and once you are up to speed, you will be able to take on some of our projects and test your leadership skills.

We are looking for a volunteer to join the Finance team who can meet the following responsibilities:

  • Organizing the monthly reimbursements

  • Keeping track of all the invoices 

  • Keeping the Profit & Loss file updated on a monthly basis

  • Organizing finance related meetings

  • Solving any problems related to platforms/tools subscriptions

  • Managing the subscription renewals of all platforms/tools used by Value Network


What are we looking for?

We are a group of motivated collaborators (but you can call us friends 😉)  and are looking for a passionate individual to strengthen our team. Ideally, you recognize yourself in the description below:

  • You are a bachelor’s / master's student preferably in Business Administration, HR or other related courses.

  • You are fluent in English.

  • You are flexible and thrive in a startup environment.

  • You are highly organized and have no problem respecting timelines.

  • You can work independently as well as in a team.

  • You have a can-do attitude towards challenges and love learning new skills.

  • You have a strong sense of ownership and a proactive mindset.
